Popularly known town resting between the Great Himalayan Mountains and the Lower Himalayan Mountain. The Beas river runs adjoining the valleys of Kullu. Temperatures are one factor to be considered while planning a trip to Kullu. The months April to October are the best times to be a tourist to the Kullu valleys as the temperature is high.

Kullu is home to picturesque valleys and many pilgrimages. Hence Kullu was named the "Valley of Gods". Kulanthpith a major Shiva pith in the entire nation is positioned near Kullu.

River rafting is a popular sport on the rivers of Kullu valleys which is graded to every level of rafters. The Great Himalayan National Park, Bijili Mahadev Temple, Solang valley, Trithan valley are must place to relish in Kullu.

Manali a hilly town is 60km from Kullu. Our Vihari team along with our host Karuna Bhushan travelled and shot across the valleys of Kullu as we make headway to Manali.
