The Seven Colored Earths is a famous tourist spot in the Mauritius Island

Visit Mauritius to see major attractions like Rain forests, hiking and the botanical gardens of Sir Seewosagar Ramgoolam in the capital city of Port Louis, but nature also created a wonder called Seven Colored Earths in the Chamarel mountain park. The place is covered with dunes that are formed from seven different colors, and all of them amalgamate to create a breath taking terrain that is picturesque to say the least. With a history going back to thousands of years, the place is considered a learning point for geology students and enthusiasts as the view and the way the terrain was formed is unique.

When you talk about Seven Colored Earths, the differently colored dunes are an enigma. The major reason of it's formation is the molten lava in one of the lasting volcanic sites of Mauritius which is a volcanic Island historically. Adjacent villages near Chamarel are worth visiting, and there are the Chamarel waterfalls which is also quite beautiful by it's own.

You can stand at various different places to have a look at the dunes. All of them provide extremely nice view points which are simply outstanding. The sand from the dunes can also be viewed to contain layers of colors that will feel unreal when taken into hands. The park is now protected with high rises barricade which prevent anyone from entering the area of interest, the dunes. Host Snighda Voruganti and team Vihari have captured picturesque view of the Seven Colored Earths and want to share their fantastic experience with us in this video. Enjoy watching!
